We are UniPartners Groningen. We are an ambitious and passionate academic consultancy firm located in the city center of Groningen.

Since 1993, we have been offering Groningen students the opportunity to gain experience in the business world. We do this because we believe that when students challenge and develop themselves, they become of great value to organizations in Northern Netherlands.

My name is Anne van Gils, currently serving as the chairperson of UniPartners Groningen. In addition to my involvement with UniPartners, I am in the process of completing my master's degrees in Supply Chain Management and Technology and Operations Management at the University of Groningen. As chairperson, I am internally responsible for aspects such as overall policy, long-term vision, and coordination, motivation, and support of the board. Externally, I bear responsibility towards various stakeholders. Lastly, I participate in national chairpersons' meetings, where important decisions for the entire network are made. My board year will focus on quality and professionalism.

My name is Daan Genee, I am 22 years old, and this year I will be serving as the treasurer at UniPartners Groningen. As treasurer, I am responsible for the financial administration and decisions. This means that I handle tasks such as sending invoices, preparing the budget, and maintaining a financially sustainable organization. Marketing & Event committee

The main goals of this committee are to organize the Junior Enterprise Day and to increase the name recognition of UniPartners. During the Junior Enterprise Day, board members from all UniPartners branches across the Netherlands come to Groningen to connect with interesting companies. We assist by engaging in some acquisition activities, approaching potential companies, and arranging practical matters such as the hostel and locations.

To achieve greater name recognition, we engage in various marketing-related activities, both online and offline. This includes developing and distributing promotional materials and brainstorming activities. For example, we contact companies to arrange promotional giveaways. What’s enjoyable about this committee is the freedom and challenge it offers to brainstorm actions with your fellow committee members and execute them, allowing you to unleash all your creativity. Additionally, as a committee member, you have access to many training opportunities, making this committee particularly educational. It’s a great place to grow and develop yourself.
