Projectomschrijving

Jacobs Douwe Egberts has too much inventory in its warehouses across Europe regarding cross sell units: items that are not planned centrally but purchased directly from third parties. There is a need to map the supply chain for this category in order to understand where the inventory is and why. Customers, suppliers, inventory management policies, forecasting methods: you will analyze all of these elements within this project. It is essential to be able to estimate what data to use and how to use it! In the end, the goal is to provide JDE with specific recommendations on how to combat the current bottlenecks.
