Projectomschrijving

The work assignment will include:

• Understanding device functionality
• System functional characterization of Ethernet Switches and PHY devices using state of the art test systems such as the Spirent C-50 Ethernet tester
• Physical layer testing of PHYs with systems such as VNAs
• Designing of PCBs for device validation and system demonstrators
• Characterizing the hardware performance of devices
• Maintenance of lab resources and infrastructure for efficient working

Eisen van student

• Automotive, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering Bachelor students
• Background on digital communications, preferably with Ethernet networking
• Good analytical and practical skills, preferably experienced with lab measurement equipment and automation of test setups
• Affinity with automotive electronics
