Besides the daily routine UniPartners has a number of recurring activities. These activities are coordinated by UniPartners Nederland. With these activities we aim to build a bridge between students and companies and try to put UniPartners on the map.

UniPartners Experience

The UniPartners Experience is an annual event organized since 2010 by UniPartners Nederland. The purpose of the UniPartners Experience is to bring top students in contact with multinationals.

For both students as companies is the UniPartners Experience an all inclusive day at a business location, in the heart of the Netherlands. Together both parties will follow high quality training programs led by leading training organizations ‘Kenneth Smith Training’ and ‘Schouten & Nelissen’.

These programs serve as a basis for the contact between student and company. This contact can be intensified through speed dates.

Unlike other events is with the UniPartners Experience the contact between student and company more intensive and the communication lines are shorter. For more information, www.unipartners-experiene.nl

Nationwide research

Every year performs UniPartners a nationwide research under students and companies. The result is published in the national media. Below you can find a brief summary of the research from last year.

Many recent research shows that Dutch employers find different sector of the CV at least as important as study results of a starter at the labor market. Many students realize that being active besides their study is very important, but do not know what employers in their sector appreciate. Through this research UniPartners has tried to assess this.

At for instance the National Career Fair are a large number of potential employers for university students interviewed. How do they rate for example an internship, having an own company or a membership at a fraternity. This research showed that more than 31% of the recruiters rated ‘study-related experience’ with the highest mark. This provides study-related experience a first place, followed by an internship and other work experience. A frequently heard comment can explain the highly rated ‘other work experience’: ‘It does not matter what students have done, when they have done something’.

This research was very well received by Metro and is therefore also published as an article in the Metro of Monday June 27th:
